In his first Tyler Perry stage production, Palmer was a resounding hit in Tyler Perrys The Marriage Counselor that was on tour January 08 through June 09. You can also see him on Tyler Perrys House of Payne as Floyd, owner of the barber shop. His achievements thus far are astonishing.

Most children begin their communicative skills by learning to talk, but Palmer Williams Jr. decided that singing was a far more effective tool to use. Music became a constant in his home and studying music became a natural progression. Palmer graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health/Hospital Administration from Knoxville College in Tennessee. After graduating from college, Palmer continued his musical career by going on to win several competitions at the world-famous Apollo Theatre in New York. His vocal credits also include singing back ground for R&B sensations Keith Sweat, LSG, and Grammy award winner, Monica. Along with his vocal success, Palmer ventured into the theatre with his stage credit, A Good Man Is Hard to Find and the stage play he directed and co-wrote, Where Have All the Good Men Gone? Once again, Palmer displays his God-given talents and takes center stage in all his creative prolificness by directing, writing, and starring in the hit, Can A Woman Make A Man Lose His Mind? and What A Man Wants, What A Woman Needs! He was featured on Robert Townsends, Play House 22 on the Black Family Channel.
